Welcome to our campaign website. I am excited to announce my candidacy for Navajo Nation Council Delegate to represent the chapter of Toh Nanees Dizi (Tuba City) in the far western portion of the Navajo Nation. As our campaign progresses, I sincerely ask for your support.

I feel it is time to put my experience and my skills to work at the next level as a policy maker. For years, I assisted and advised Council delegates, congressional representatives, county officials, state legislators and local chapter officials on various issues affecting our Navajo people. I gained the experience necessary to help advocate the needs of our people.

As a lifelong resident of Tuba City, I want to see our chapter progress and succeed. As budget constraints begin to tighten everywhere, economic development is the means to self-sufficiency.

In order to accomplish this, it will take the entire community and our tribal government’s cooperation. We need to look into the future with long range goals. We must begin using our young Navajo talent and skills to help elevate our Navajo Nation. We must do this in order to compete more assertively with mainstream America. We must do this to ensure our voices are heard in our county, state and federal governments. We must do this to protect our sovereignty and the right to self-determination. We must do this to protect our Navajo way of life, our language and our culture.

As a Nation, we will become strong through teamwork and cooperation. Our government needs to be strengthened and our efforts need to be focused on improving the quality of life for our people.

If elected, I ensure you hard work and persistence as your Council delegate. It is time to strengthen advocacy for our chapters, it is time to make your voice heard. We may not be able to change Window Rock overnight, but we can certainly pick and choose who we send there.

I thank you for your support and I wish you all well...

Respectfully yours,
